I have grown to love Los Angeles. It was the first American city that I visited, and as a first-timer –and a teenager, no less – I found it incredibly overwhelming. I never would have imagined that one day I would have an office there and visit regularly. I also think I am the only person who gets around L.A. in a cab – I act like it’s New York City – but it seems to work for me. While I have since gotten to know the City of Angels so much better, I still think it’s one of those spots for which you need the inside track.

I visited LA this month on behalf of Qantas Airways for various “G’Day USA: Australia Week” events. Needless to say, it’s always fun when you get a group of Aussies together (plus Qantas Ambassadors John Travolta and Miranda Kerr)
